On September 1, 2025, Ms. Thanathita Bunyamanikul, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, presided over the opening ceremony of a workshop on the application of Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis to the evaluation of key projects under the Agricultural Master Plan at the Maruay Garden Hotel in Bangkok.
The workshop, held from September 1-3, 2025, aimed to enhance OAE personnel's knowledge in evaluating projects under the Agricultural Master Plan, taking into account economic and social benefits. This workshop will enable them to develop recommendations for improving project implementation that are relevant to the context of farmers and stakeholders, both economically and socially, and ultimately achieve the goals of the Agricultural Master Plan. Activities included a lecture on the concept and importance of the Social Return on Investment (SROI) assessment methodology, and a group training session on applying the SROI assessment methodology to evaluate key projects under the Agricultural Master Plan.
