
On July 31, 2025, Mr. Chantanon Wannakejohn, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, presided over the opening ceremony of the workshop titled "Results of Implementing Key Projects under the Agricultural Master Plan." Ms. Thanyathitha Boonyamanikul, Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, delivered a report. The workshop took place at the Vayuphak Room 6, 5th Floor, Centara Life Hotel, Government Complex and Convention Center, Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok.
This seminar, scheduled for July 31 - August 1, 2025, aims to provide a forum to present the results of implementing key projects under the Agricultural Master Plan, as well as to listen to and exchange opinions from relevant parties. The information will be used to improve the report for greater completeness and to drive the project forward in future phases.
The seminar activities consisted of three lectures on July 31, 2025:
1) NESDC's Perspectives on the Implementation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' Agricultural Master Plan by Dr. Athiphong Hirunruangchok, Director of the Strategy and Coordination Division for Competitiveness Development, Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC);
2) The Linkages of the Agricultural Master Plan with the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' Action Plan by Ms. Tapi Wacharangkun, Director of the Agricultural Development Policy and Planning Division;
3) Guidelines for Implementing Monitoring and Evaluation in Fiscal Year 2026 by Dr. Chattapol Sayaphan, Director of the CPPE, and Dr. Anuwat Pue-on, Expert on Policy and Special Project Evaluation.
On August 1, 2025, there was a presentation of the results of key projects under the six sub-master plans, and an exchange of views by representatives of the CPPE and the project-related agencies. These included the sub-master plans for local identity, organic agriculture, safe agriculture, processed agriculture, smart agriculture, and agricultural ecosystem development. and a presentation summarizing the results of key projects under the agricultural master plan
by Ms. Panida Topuang, an expert on agricultural development evaluation.
Following the seminar, CPPE will use the information obtained from the seminar to improve the report for greater completeness. The project agencies responsible will also use this information to consider future project implementation.
